The technology behind LossRunGuru

Insurance document AI, sized for one agency

Powered by SortSpoke

LossRunGuru runs on SortSpoke, the insurance document AI platform built by the same company, Mocsy Inc. SortSpoke was built for insurance document intake such as submissions and loss runs. LossRunGuru brings it to independent P&C agencies: upload a PDF, pay per credit, no contract.

How it works

How your loss run becomes a spreadsheet

LossRunGuru and SortSpoke each do one part of the job.

1

You upload a loss run

Drop a carrier loss run PDF into LossRunGuru. The first time, you confirm your email before extraction starts.

2

SortSpoke reads it

LossRunGuru sends the PDF to SortSpoke's document AI platform, which extracts the policy and claim data.

3

LossRunGuru builds your file

LossRunGuru turns that data into a spreadsheet and emails it to you: CSV for everyone, Excel on paid accounts.

Extraction is a first pass. Check the spreadsheet against the PDF before the data goes into a submission.

Why it matters

Why the engine matters when you handle client loss runs

You're trusting a tool with your clients' claims history. These are the facts about the platform behind it.

Built for insurance documents

SortSpoke is insurance document AI, built for document intake such as submissions and loss runs. The engine behind LossRunGuru wasn't built as a generic PDF converter. It was built for insurance companies that need to trace every value back to the document it came from.

An independently audited platform: SortSpoke

SortSpoke holds an annual SOC 2 Type II attestation from an independent auditor, covering the Security, Availability and Confidentiality criteria. LossRunGuru's own SOC 2 Type II certification is on our roadmap.

LossRunGuru is built by Mocsy Inc., the company behind SortSpoke. SortSpoke's AI is in production at U.S. and Canadian insurance carriers, reinsurers, claims administrators and government agencies, processing millions of documents a year.

Processing loss runs at carrier volume?

LossRunGuru is built for an agency uploading its own loss runs. If your team reads loss runs inside an underwriting or submission workflow, SortSpoke is built for that.
